“Beautiful Portuguese architecture made it a very unique experience” We found this place online. Had never heard of it since it had opened only a couple of months before our visit. But the pictures made us really curious and we decided to give it a try. The owner of the place, Collins is a very jovial person who made us feel at home right from the beginning. He tended to every single of ours needs and quite frankly we developed a very friendly bond with him even over our short spanned stay at his hotel. The place is located in one of the nicer areas near Calangute. Its less crowded and quieter if you are looking for peaceful mornings instead of the noisy Calangute hotels. But its still very close to Calangute and this should make it easier for those who are looking to spend time at the beach. The hotel is reminiscent of a Portuguese villa, from flooring to ceiling to the bespoke furniture that we completely fell in love with. There is a beautiful little pool right at the center, between the main roadside building and the cottages at the back. The best time we had was chilling by the pool, playing the karaoke in the pale moonlight. The breakfast was included in our rent and it was a very decent one with everything from cereal to omelettes to bread & butter. We were absolutely glad to have made the choice to stay at Lar Amorosa. It is so beautiful you wouldn't wanna leave and I promise you'd end up spending a lot more time at the hotel than you usually do. I hope to make another visit soon.

“Very enjoyable stay at Lar Amorosa could'nt fault” Everything about our stay at Lar Amorosa was perfect from beginning to end. On arrival we were greeted personally by all friendly staff, offered refreshments, a tour of the hotel, amenities and rooms. Nothing was ever to much trouble for the staff from assisting in booking and hailing cabs ensuring we were not paying over the odds to advisng on where to go for an enjoyable safe night out. The hotel was very clean, the rooms had tv, wifi, walk in shower and comfy beds, even little touches like mosquito plug-ins added to the details. The pool is on the small side but a perfect setting for relaxation and a dip to cool off. Breakfast delicious and were always asked if there was anything in particular we wanted that was not already on the menu. Overall would definitely recommend staying at the Lar Amorosa for a pleasant stay in Goa. On a busy road so taxis would be required to further destinations. Two ATMs in close proximity as well as a supermarket, alcohol store and restaurant.

“A beautiful, tranquil oasis!” Where to begin? Having made an escape from a hellish place in Anjuna, we stumbled across this gem and its wonderful proprietor, Collins and his enigmatic father, Solomon. We were warmly greeted and were checked in in a most efficient and welcoming manner. The lobby area is stylishly classic, yet still delivers a feel of being at home. The rooms are immaculate, (until I split suntan oil on the bathroom floor!), with tasteful decor, extremely comfortable beds and little details that made it feel special. The balcony looks onto the jungle to the side-such an amazing location. The dining area is homely, with a delicious breakfast cooked to order. There are books and lovely carved ornaments, all adding to the ambiance. The pool area, with raised terrace, is superb, with views of the jungle. We stayed for 2 nights over the New Year and had 3 rooms. I really can't put into words what a wonderful place Lar Amarosa is. But I can say that it is run by people with heart and it was the best accommodation of our holiday-in fact, the best part. I wish we could have stayed longer and would hope to be able to return in the future, for a substantially longer stay.

Luxurious one of kind villa in North Goa !! Excellent villa of it's class & size (12 rooms!!). New property and kept extremely clean, with spacious rooms & bathrooms. Not to mention the spacious and well maintained pool & Jacuzzi in the courtyard. The hospitality of the Owner (Mr.Collins) & his family along with his manager (Mr.Roy) & staff made my stay a cherished one. the villa (though not located at the beach) was well located amidst the lush greenery and is 10 mins drive to candolim beach and calangute market. Kudos to the team, please keep up the good work!! P.S. The villa is best suited for a family holday!!

Very Comfortable and Pleasant Stay!! Initially we wanted to stay at the place for 2 days and move North for couple of days and then to South Goa but we were so comfortable that we couldn't move out and stayed all 7 days of our tour at Lar Amorosa. Clean, cozy, beautiful architecture of old Portuguese house and state of the art modern facilities. Mr. Collins and his family are very friendly and take personal care of your requirements and facilitate your stay attentively. Overall a wonderful experience!! Superb Portuguese palace. Loved the bungalow. Very nice staff. 15 ladies !! Honoured to be the third guests. They took care of us so well , felt like it is our ancestral house or granny's house. Beautiful Goan architecture with all modern amenities is the main attraction here. Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Definitely my next stay on Goa will be dthe same. Lar Amorosa is a 5 star boutique B&B.Collins has done a great job with this property, extremely clean and with all amenities as you would get in a 5-star hotel. He made sure that we were well taken care of by his property manager Roy. Roy was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable & well connected for activities, reservations and great recommendations. Even at the last minute he was able to arrange things for our needs. Highly recommend this place. We would definitely visit again.
